Our Story
Born in 2000 in the "secret" town of Los Alamos, The Hill Stompers began as a small group of musicians seeking to bring joy and music to the high desert.
Our mission is simple: to create high-energy performances and foster music education for our members. We believe that music is the universal language that brings people together, and we are dedicated to making every show a memorable experience for our friends, fans and neighbors.
As a "child band" of the Seed & Feed Marching Abominable (where our founders met during their time in Atlanta, GA), we proudly carry on the community band tradition by bringing fun (and loud) music to our home community in Los Alamos. You can also occasionally find us in the streets of Santa Fe and at select events in Colorado.
We are an all-volunteer band and a 501(c)(3) non-profit education organization. We invite you to support us on our journey, whether through a donation or simply by attending and singing along at our next gig.
